Fall Getaway to Halloweentown
Whether you’re a 90’s baby, or grew up as a Disney Channel kid, the Halloweentown movie is a classic for the Fall season and a fun nostalgic watch. Not only can you reminisce by watching all the movies, you can go visit the magical place where the movies came to life. If you have not seen Halloweentown, it is a must watch movie for the Fall season about a family learning about their spooky heritage and helping their grandmother save Halloweentown from evil forces.
Yearly in St. Helen’s Oregon the “Spirit of Halloweentown” comes to life from mid-September to Halloween night. The main plaza can be explored including all the photo ops, Vendors Village, and dining without any ticket needed. Tickets can be purchased on their website for various attractions and exhibits if you want to experience more! St. Helen’s is not only the original location for Halloweentown, but also Twilight, a location that is definitely worth visiting to celebrate all the haunted history.
Make sure to check the “Spirit on Halloweentown” website before planning your visit to see the schedule, planned activities and attractions, and special weekends! Parking is free and more accessible during the week, but is $15 and more limited on the weekend.
Enjoy exploring everything from Benny the skeleton cab driver, the iconic Halloweentown pumpkin, to haunted houses and costume contests! The pumpkin that sits in the main plaza gets lit on the first Saturday of October and remains lit for the rest of the month!
